It all started with Epillyss
Back in 2009, two good friends and fellow estheticians, Becky and Luisa, discovered and fell in love with a wax made in the beautiful city of Montreal, Canada – Epillyss. After learning much about the uniqueness of the brand and getting to know the team behind it, they were both excited about the impressive quality and performance of Epillyss waxes. They soon found that Epillyss seemed to be significantly underrepresented in the US. Fueled by the desire to help spa professionals elevate their waxing services with this exceptional wax along with essential spa supplies, The Wax Connection was born.

About Our Founders
Becky
Becky Stodder Price got her start in the esthetics industry in 1988, when she became a licensed esthetician and opened her own skin care practice. From the start, she learned to wax with the foremost brand in the industry – Cirepil – and proudly used it in her services. Driven by her passion to help others succeed in the world of waxing and skin care, she obtained her Esthetic Instructor license in 2001. Becky’s extensive experience and education led her to regularly conduct a variety of Skin Care and Advanced Wax Classes throughout her long, impactful career.
Sadly, we lost our beautiful Becky to cancer in April of 2024. Her passing leaves an immeasurable void, but the legacy she built stands as a testament to her unwavering dedication to the industry, tireless work ethic, and unparalleled integrity.
Beyond her professional achievements, she was a guiding light, a mentor, and a source of strength. Her spirit will forever be woven into the fabric of The Wax Connection, and her memory will continue to inspire us to uphold the standards she so diligently set. Though we deeply mourn her loss, we celebrate the extraordinary life she lived and the enduring impact she made.

Rachel
Rachel Patton, co-founder and daughter of Becky, carries forward the legacy built alongside her beloved mother. Since its inception, Rachel has played an integral role in The Wax Connection's growth and operations. Following the passing of her mother, she has stepped fully into her role, becoming a hands-on leader who manages every aspect of our business.
Rachel was blessed to have learned so much about the esthetics and waxing industry, both from her mother, and by being immersed in this wonderful field for the past 15 years. With a heart full of dedication, a hard-working nature, and a keen business acumen, she ensures the company continues to thrive, maintaining the standards of excellence that were the cornerstone of their shared vision. She is not just continuing a business; she is honoring a partnership and a mother's dream, ensuring that The Wax Connection remains a symbol of integrity, excellence, and unwavering commitment to its clients.
