The Wax Connection began in 2009 when two good friends and fellow estheticians, Becky and Luisa, discovered Epillyss, a professional wax made in Montreal, Canada. Impressed by the quality and performance of the wax, they saw an opportunity to make the brand more accessible to estheticians and beauty professionals throughout the U.S.
With Becky’s daughter, Rachel, working alongside them from the beginning, The Wax Connection came to life. What started with a shared enthusiasm for a great wax grew into a business dedicated to bringing exceptional professional waxing products and personal, dependable service to beauty professionals across the country.

Becky Stodder Price got her start in the esthetics industry in 1988, when she became a licensed esthetician and opened her own skin care practice. From the start, she learned to wax with the foremost brand in the industry – Cirepil – and proudly used it in her services. Driven by her passion to help others succeed in the world of waxing and skin care, she obtained her Esthetic Instructor license in 2001. Becky’s extensive experience and education led her to regularly conduct a variety of Skin Care and Advanced Wax Classes throughout her long, impactful career.
With profound sorrow, we lost our beautiful Becky to cancer in April of 2024. Her passing leaves an immeasurable void, but the legacy she built stands as a testament to her unwavering dedication to the industry, tireless work ethic, and unparalleled integrity.
Beyond her professional achievements, she was a guiding light, a mentor, and a source of strength. Her spirit will forever be woven into the fabric of The Wax Connection, and her memory will continue to inspire us to uphold the standards she so diligently set. Though we deeply mourn her loss, we celebrate the extraordinary life she lived and the enduring impact she made.
Rachel Patton, Becky's daughter, has been an integral part of The Wax Connection since its beginning. Working alongside her mother, Rachel helped grow the company from its earliest days and became deeply involved in nearly every aspect of the business. Today, she carries forward what they built together, overseeing the day-to-day operations and continuing the commitment to quality products and personal service that has always been at the heart of The Wax Connection.
A graduate of Texas State University with a business degree in marketing, Rachel brought a strong business and marketing background to The Wax Connection. Over the years, her role naturally grew along with the business.
Through more than 15 years of working alongside her mother and serving beauty professionals, Rachel gained an invaluable understanding of the esthetics and professional waxing industry. She remains committed to building on the foundation she and Becky created together while keeping The Wax Connection focused on what has always mattered most: providing beauty professionals with products they can trust and the dependable, personal service they deserve.
