UPDATE: April 30, 2024
Dear Friends,
It is with deep and profound sadness that I announce the passing of my beautiful mother, Becky Stodder Price, Founder of The Wax Connection. She endured a long and difficult battle with cancer. She passed on April 25, 2024, with family by her side. Her birthday was April 26th. Not surprisingly, she chose to spend it in a much better place – Heaven. Becky was 75 years old, but as she liked to call it, “three quarters of a century" years old.
Professionally, my mother thrived on being of service and supporting her friends and clients to the best of her ability. Her integrity, passion, and dedication to the beauty industry earned her appreciation and respect among her clients and colleagues. A natural-born educator, she truly enjoyed sharing her many years of experience and knowledge to help fellow Beauty Industry Professionals be as successful as possible with their businesses and services. She was a mentor to many – always ready to lend a supportive ear and offer sage advice.
There are no words to encapsulate the depth of the loss I feel from losing my beloved Mom. Her palpable absence leaves an unmistakable void that will never be filled. Her generous spirit, her quiet strength, and her enduring love will continue to live on in each of the lives she touched. May her memory and the indelible impact she had on each of us remain a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be missed beyond measure.
During this difficult time of grief, I ask for your continued patience, compassion, and prayers. Through May 31, please allow 1 additional business day for your order to process and ship. Thank you so much for your support.
To close, I’d like to share a poem for my Mom and for those who, too, know the sorrow of losing their mother. It's called “If Roses Grow in Heaven” by Dolores M. Garcia:
If roses grow in heaven,
Lord please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my Mother’s arms
and tell her they’re from me.
Tell her I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for a while.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
but there’s an ache within my heart
that will never go away.
With love and gratitude,
Rachel Patton

Dear Friends,
My beautiful Mom, Becky Price, Founder of The Wax Connection, has been fighting a long, difficult battle with cancer. She’s faithfully, joyfully, and gracefully served our friends and customers since 2009, when The Wax Connection was conceived. Her dedication to providing the best service she could for our customers has persisted even through her challenges and struggles.
She is now in critical condition and may not be with us much longer. I am spending her last days and moments by her side. During this difficult time, we ask for your patience, understanding, and prayers.
For orders placed Wednesday April 17th until further notice, please allow 1 additional business day for your order to ship.
Thank you so much for your support.
For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day. - 2 Timothy 4:6-8
With love and light,
Rachel Patton
